Salon Policies

 

Appointments

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you receive your full service. We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the salon so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule. If you are running late, we will do everything possible to accommodate you. If you are excessively late,15 minutes or more, please keep in mind that we may need to reschedule your appointment.


· We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles.


· Please keep all valuable items with you during your service.


· Please advise our staff of any allergies or sensitivities you may have.


· No pets are allowed in the salon.


At Home Hair Color

We require a complimentary consultation prior to booking for anyone who has colored their hair with non-professional color in the last 2 years. If this applies to you please call to book so we can assess the situation and set up a consultation. If a color service is booked online or without our knowledge of at home hair color, the appointment is subject to be canceled or rescheduled with a possible cancellation fee.


Cancellations/No Shows

We require a credit card on file to reserve your appointment. Our Cancellation Policy gives you 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule. If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled outside of this period or is no-showed we reserve the right to charge 50% of the scheduled services to the card on file.


If charges do not go through due to an expired card or low balance, the charge will be applied to your account and must be paid before you may book any future appointments.


We appreciate your understanding and we understand that your time is valuable as well as our stylists availability.


CHANGING YOUR STYLISTS

Please feel free to change stylists within the salon at your convenience. This provides you with a variety of talent and some flexibility in booking an appointment. We suggest that you use at least two or three stylists regularly so that you are always assured of knowledgeable, personalized service regardless of emergencies, vacations, illnesses or unexpected travel plans.


Services Policy

If you are dissatisfied with a service you have received, we are happy to provide you with the opportunity to return to the salon for us to redo the service. Re-dos are scheduled exactly like regular appointments and are provided at no charge. The only qualification that we make in providing re-dos is that you call to schedule the redo within 48 hours of the original service and that the redo be scheduled with the same stylist who provided the service. However, in the case that the original stylist has no time available, or if you feel that the technician is unable to provide the service, an exception may be made and the redo may be scheduled with another technician. We do not offer refunds for any hair services. Olivia Lane Salon will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon.


Pricing

All prices are subject to change at the discretion of management. Prices vary depending on the stylist.


Gratuities

Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients. Tips can be added to credit card charges. Gift certificates do not include gratuities:


  • If more than one person has attended to you, do not feel obligated to take care of all persons individually.


  • If you have allowed a set amount for gratuity, divide it between those who have worked on you, not to exceed the original amount.


  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept tips on credit card transactions or on gift cards/eGifts. There is a tipping kiosk for your convenience that goes directly to your service provider.


Loyalty Program

We have a loyalty program set up to thank and reward our guests for supporting our small business. Please see the following parameters associated with this program. 


Points cannot be combined with other offers, promotions or discounts. Points do not expire unless there is no activity or future appointments on your account in a year from the time they were earned. 


Use of points for complimentary hair treatments do not include a blowout. If you are not receiving the treatment in conjunction with another service such as color or cut, you must purchase a blowout in order to redeem points for the treatment. Points are not earned on the purchase of hair extensions or hot tools.


Methods Of Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express as well as cash or debit cards and personal checks. We do not accept third party checks. There will be a $35.00 returned check fee in addition to the returned amount for any returned checks on our account.


Gift Cards / eGift Certificates

Gift cards may be purchased online (see Gift Cards tab) or in store. They do not expire, do not include gratuities and cannot be redeemed for cash. No refunds will be given on purchases of gift cards or eGifts. They may be redeemed for products and services.


Retail Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! Haircare products may be exchanged within 14 days of original purchase if they are unopened, only used once, or otherwise approved by management.


ADDITIONAL NOTES

Olivia Lanes Salon requests that you remove your top garment before receiving your service. Olivia Lane Salon IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage to your clothing caused by services done. This also allows access to the neck and shoulders for an accurate haircut. There are robes available for your convenience.
